About
Temple Health & Bioscience District (THBD), established in 2003, is a nonprofit economic-development district built around a Temple, Texas healthcare ecosystem that includes Baylor Scott & White Health, Texas A&M Health Science Center College of Medicine, the Central Texas Veterans Health Care System, Temple College and AgriLife Research. THBD recruits and retains medical talent and institutions, invests in medical-district infrastructure, and convenes public-private partnerships — a reminder that "Central Texas" extends well beyond Austin.
